1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using KAIROS, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including coaches, parents, athletes, and club administrators.

2. Description of Service

KAIROS is an AI-powered behavioral analysis platform designed to help sports coaches and parents better understand athletes' communication styles, motivations, and needs. Profiles are generated using validated behavioral questionnaires (DISC model and VAKA reception channels) processed by an AI model.

KAIROS profiles are tools to support coaching decisions — not clinical psychological assessments. They should not be used as the sole basis for major decisions about an athlete's career or mental health.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must not share your account with others or use another person's account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use KAIROS for any unlawful purpose.
• Create profiles for individuals without their knowledge or consent (for adult athletes).
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform.
• Use the platform to harass, defame, or harm any individual.
• Misuse the AI outputs to discriminate against athletes based on protected characteristics.
• Resell or redistribute KAIROS content without written permission.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

• Free Trial: Includes 3 athlete profiles at no charge.
• Pro Plans: Billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You authorize recurring charges.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period. No refunds for partial periods.
• Price Changes: We will notify you at least 30 days before any price change takes effect.

6. Intellectual Property

KAIROS and its content, features, and AI-generated profiles are owned by the platform operator. The behavioral terminology (Driver, Catalyst, Anchor, Precision; Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic, Analytical) as used in KAIROS constitutes proprietary intellectual property. You retain ownership of the data you input (athlete names, questionnaire responses). You grant KAIROS a license to process this data to provide the service.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Profiles are generated by an AI model (Anthropic Claude) and may contain inaccuracies. KAIROS provides these profiles “as is” and makes no warranties about their accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any particular purpose. Always use professional judgment when acting on AI-generated coaching recommendations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KAIROS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, without prior notice in cases of serious violations. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Quebec.
